The Hydro Coaxial speakers are not your typical waterproof speakers, they are engineered to be environment proof. Designed for boats, ATV's, Side-by-Sides, motorcycles, RV's, wave runners and everything else that Mother Nature likes to pick on. Sun, mud, water, and sand have met their match. The hydrophobic mica-injected polypropylene cone and butyl surround are also processed with UV inhibitors for a long lifespan in the sun. The front of the driver is completely sealed from the reverse side to prevent penetration from all elements. One of the most unique aspects of the driver is the waveguide high-frequency Ti02 coated tweeter for maximum protection, projection and dispersion of soundwaves. Designed for intense applications in need of high-output full-range sound reproduction to combat the turbulent wind blowing in your face, excessively loud exhausts and other forces of nature. The entire driver is then protected and encased by a special anti-corrosive polymer basket and grill.
